During the week of July 22, 2019, PSE&G crews will:

Replace gas main and services on Millridge Road @ Luhman Terrace from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Millridge Road will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Roosevelt Ave. @ Third Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Roosevelt Ave. will be open with alternating traffic. |

Replace gas main and services on Third Street @ Front Street from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Third Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Humboldt Street @ Raydol Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Humboldt Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Ninth Street @ Mansfield Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Ninth Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |
This project is part of the PSE&G Gas System Modernization Program (GSMP) to replace aging cast iron and unprotected steel gas mains in order to support a safe, clean and reliable gas system.
The mains and services will be replaced with stronger more durable materials which are much less likely to have leaks and release methane gas.
The new elevated pressure systems also enable the installation of excess flow valves that dramatically reduce gas flow if a service line is damaged, and provide better support for the use of high-efficiency appliances.
