Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 07/16/2019 at 3:26 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Joseph Warick of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Warick was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 07/17/2019 at 1:54 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Immaculate Conception Church located at 1275 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a suspicious male attempting to gain access into the gift shop. During the investigation, the police arrested a 54 year old male, Christopher Kalicinski of Jersey City, NJ for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information. Mr. Kalicinski was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $150.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Mr. Kalicinski was served his complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Union City Police Department.
On 07/18/2019 at 4:43 AM, Officer’s from the Guttenberg Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 39 year old male, Hector Santana-Sanchez of Staten Island, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Santana-Sanchez was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Carteret, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Sayreville, NJ in the amount of $435.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $350.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Santana-Sanchez was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 07/18/2019 at 4:27 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Samuel Pico of Bloomfield, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10(A)4] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Pico was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released from police custody.
On 07/19/2019 at 4:36 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old male, Jose Almonte of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Almonte was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
On 07/19/2019 at 9:54 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking deck located at 500 Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Nigel Askew of Walden, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Toms River, NJ in the amount of $500.00. The Toms River Police Department did release Mr. Askew on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from police custody pending a future court date.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
