Heat Advisory 7-19-19

Due to the extreme heat advisory, Mayor Michael Gonnelli and the Town Council are alerting residents that Cooling Centers will be open this weekend at the Library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and from 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, the Rec Center from 9-6 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday and the Senior Center at 101 Centre Ave from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents are also invited to cool off at the water sprinklers at Buchmuller Park, Naters Park on Blondel Drive & Koelle Blvd., and Ivanovski Park on Charles St.

Visit the Secaucus Swim Club anytime from 10 am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday for a $5 fee for everyone with a Secaucus resident ID. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please stay cool by wearing loose & light colored clothing and keep hydrated.
