On 05/10/2023 at 5:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 63-year-old male, Anthony Romano of Paterson, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $1,750.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Little Falls, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Haledon, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Romano was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Romano was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/11/2023 at 10:40 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old male, Wilde Trinidad III of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Mr. Trinidad was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Mr. Trinidad was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the North Bergen Police Department.

On 05/13/2023 at 6:00 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Parking lot of 150 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. During the investigation, the police arrested an 18 year old male, Michael Carcani of Doylestown, PA for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5B(2)], specifically a BB Gun. Mr. Carcani was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/13/2023 at 10:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Miguel Matos of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Newark did release Mr. Matos on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Matos was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/13/2023 at 6:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old female, Amanda Cabassa of Yonkers, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(5)]. Ms. Cabassa was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/14/2023 at 2:33 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 51-year-old male, Carlo Timoteo of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Timoteo was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 05/14/2023 at 11:28 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Route 3 East near of the area of the Meadowlands Parkway Ramp on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Ariel Caceres of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Caceres was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released to the custody of a responsible adult.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
