Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 6/26/19 at 10:30 PM, the Secaucus Fire Department responded to 120 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a fire within one of the apartments. An investigation revealed that the fire was purposely set. A 12 year old juvenile male, of Secaucus, was arrested on 7/1/19 and charged with Arson [2C:17-1b(2)] and Causing or Risking Widespread Injury or Damage [2C:17-2c].

On 07/03/2019 at 1:00 PM, In furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to a theft occurring at Marra’s Drug Store located at 1285 Paterson Plank Road, the police arrested a 64 year old female, Linda Marra of Secaucus, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Ms. Marra was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/03/2019 at 1:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Paterson Plank Road and the Maple Street ramp on a report of a male who had exposed himself to a vehicle that was passing by. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47 year old male, Sergio Menendez of Secaucus, NJ for Lewdness [2C:14-4B(2)] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. Mr. Menendez was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/04/2019 at 9:00 PM, Officer’s from the New Jersey State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 21 year old male, Nelio Guzman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Guzman was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ and he was subsequently released from police custody.

On 07/05/2019 at 11:39 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a stolen cellphone. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Andre Clark, of Brooklyn, NY for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6]. Mr. Clark was served with his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 07/05/2019 at 4:58, Secaucus Police responded to Century 21 located at 21 Century Way on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48 year old male, Miguel Sanchez of Jersey City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A], Possession of CDS believed to be Tramadol [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Clonazepam [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Olanzapine [2C:35-10.5E(1)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Tizanidine [2C:35-10.5E(1)] and Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Metformin [2C:35-10.5E(2)]. Mr. Sanchez was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/06/2019 at 5:30 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Route 3 East on a report of a female walking in a lane of traffic. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59 year old female, Cynthia Ulrich of Zephyrhills, FL for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Pasco County Sheriff’s Office in Florida with no bail. Ms. Ulrich was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ms. Ulrich was served with her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
