Secaucus Police Arrest Man for Lewd Acts in Kohl’s

On March 2, 2023 at 3:11 P.M. Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s, 3 Millcreek Drive, on report of a man who was walking around the store committing lewd acts. The man was gratifying himself in view of the public were he could be observed by children under the age of thirteen. After being approached by a Loss Prevention Officer, the man then left the store.

After a follow up investigation by the Secaucus Police Detective Division, the man was identified as Christopher Honnold, 27, of Smithtown, NY. Christopher Honnold surrendered himself to the Secaucus Police on March 6, 2023. Christopher Honnold was charged with Sexual Assault [2C:14-2(b)] and Criminal Sexual Contact [2C:14-3b]. He was lodged in the Hudson County Jail.

“I commend my detective division for their swift work in identifying this man,” Chief Dennis Miller said. “While his actions are quite disturbing, he will be held accountable for his crimes.”
