On 01/23/2023 at 2:55 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Justin Ortiz of Hoboken, NJ for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon [2C:39-3E], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and Certain Persons not to Have Weapons [2C:39-7A] for possessing in his vehicle a switch blade knife. Mr. Ortiz was issued his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/24/2023 at 12:00 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a theft incident that occurred at Jimmy Jazz located at 80 Enterprise Avenue, the police arrested a 43 year old female, Claudine Kammo of Union City along with a 31 year old male, Peter Kammo of Union City, NJ for Conspiracy to commit Theft [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both individuals were taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Both parties were also charged with Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] out of North Bergen, NJ. Both Mr. Kammo and Ms. Kammo were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On 01/24/2023 at 2:45 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old female, Beyonce Johnson-Hightower of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Newark, NJ with no bail. Ms. Johnson-Hightower was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and she was subsequently transported to the Newark Police Department.
On 01/25/2023 at 10:35 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Secaucus Municipal Court to take into custody a 41-year-old female, Taina Otero of Ridgefield Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Otero was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 01/25/2023 at 4:46 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Tristan Rodas of Queens, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Rodas was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Rodas was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
