Secaucus Police Blotter 12/19/2022 - 12/25/2022

On 12/20/2022 at 12:15 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male, Ronald Godbold of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $250.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Godbold was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Elizabeth did release Mr. Godbold on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Godbold was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 12/20/2022 at 11:45 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to an incident of stalking that was reported to the police on 12/19/2022, the police responded to Jersey City, NJ and arrested a 70 year old male, John Pitarresi of Jersey City, NJ for Stalking [2C:12-10B]. Mr. Pitarresi was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/21/2022 at 10:36 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, Wendy Aguilar of Norwalk, CT for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant located out of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. Mr. Aguilar was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/21/2022 at 1:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Burlington Coat Factory located at 31 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Michael Rabatin of Elizabeth, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. Mr. Rabatin was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/25/2022 at 3:15 AM, Officers from the Clifton Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and transferred custody of a 29 year old female, Tori Beato of Secaucus, NJ for 5 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,450.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Beato was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
