Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 06/24/2019 at 8:33 AM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle parked on the sidewalk area of 150 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Christian Dominguez of West New York, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Dominguez was further charged with Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1(A)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5B(3)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Being Under the Influence of a CDS [2C:35-10B] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Dominguez was served his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/24/2019 at 9:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Metuchen Police Department to take custody of a 55 year old male, Darrell Washington of Newark, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $800.00. Mr. Washington was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Trenton, NJ in the amount of $150.00. Mr. Washington was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/26/2019 at 7:35 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Jeffrey Minaya-Terrero of Clifton, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Minaya-Terrero was served his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/26/2019 at 10:55 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46 year old male, Dany Silva of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information. Mr. Silva was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 06/26/2019 at 2:11 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Jersey City Police Department to take custody of a 59 year old male, Kevin Chambers of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Chambers was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/27/2019 at 10:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Fairview Police Department to take custody of a 38 year old male, Christos Yfantis of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Yfantis was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/27/2019 at 12:36 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 290 County Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old female, Jessica Campos of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lyndhurst, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Ms. Campos was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 06/27/2019, in a continuing effort by the Secaucus Police Department to reduce vice crimes in the Town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Detective Division arrested a 25 year old female, Grisel Gabin of San Juan, Puerto Rico along with a 26 year old female, Jenniffer Almonte of Union City, NJ in separate incidents for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both Ms. Gabin and Ms. Almonte were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On 06/27/2019 at 11:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49 year old male, Robert Haywood of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Rockaway, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The Rockaway Police Department did release Mr. Haywood on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was subsequently released from police custody.
On 6/28/2019 at 7:51 PM, the State Police turned over custody of Tanasia Brandon, 27 of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $200.00. Ms. Brandon posted bail for the warrant and was released from police custody.
On 6/29/2019 at 3:10 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries. During investigation Michael Marshall, 32 of Nanuet, NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Reckless Driving [39:4-96].
