Secaucus Police Blotter 10/31/2022 - 11/06/2022

On 10/31/2022 at 9:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Harmony Suites located at 455 Plaza Drive on a report of a possible bomb located on the premises. The report of a bomb on the premises was determined to be unfounded. Further investigation led the police to arrest a 26 year old male, Christopher Geary of Hewitt, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Mr. Geary was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 11/03/2022 at 12:00 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at Walmart on 10/14/2022, the police responded to Riverside Station Boulevard and arrested a 34 year old male, Gerald Rainey of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)]. Mr. Rainey was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 11/04/2022 at 2:46 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Red Lobster located at 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a patron who did not have enough money to his bill. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36 year old male, Jeffrey Im of Fort Lee, NJ for Theft of Services [2C:20-8A]. Mr. Im was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 11/04/2022 at 11:50 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old female, Lydiacruz Flores of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. East Brunswick did release Ms. Flores on her own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Flores was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 11/05/2022 at 2:56 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21 year old male, Justin Martha of the Bronx, NY for 1 NCIC warrant issued out of Pennsylvania with no bail. The police also arrested a 24 year old female, Yazmin Bencosme-Sanchez of Hackensack, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Mr. Martha was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ms. Bencosme-Sanchez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. Mr. Martha was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 11/05/2022 at 9:01 AM, Secaucus Police observed a disabled vehicle stopped in the area of 300 Route 3 East. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, Anthony Martinez of Little Ferry, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $501.00. Mr. Martinez was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
