On 09/07/2022 at 11:42 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 57 year old male, Luis Palma of Kearny, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Oakhurst, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Arlington, NJ in the amount of $1,270.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Both Kearny and Harrison did release Mr. Palma on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Palma was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Oakhurst, NJ and North Arlington, NJ. Mr. Palma was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 09/08/2022 at 3:44 PM, the Secaucus Police responded to the Rodeway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East after information was received that an individual staying at the Hotel had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60 year old female, Anne Guidice of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Roselle Park, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Roselle Park did release Ms. Guidice on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.

On 09/08/2022 at 7:31 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Josaiah Nazario of Jersey City, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5B(2)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. The police also arrested a 43 year old female, Andriana Torres of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Torres was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and she was released from police custody. Mr. Nazario was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/08/2022 at 10:44 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an incident of Eluding that occurred on 09/01/2022, the police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue and arrested a 20 year old male, Demetrius Higgins of Jersey City, NJ for Eluding [2C:29-2B] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], a license plate. Mr. Higgins was issued his complaint warrant along with 7 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/09/2022 at 12:18 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a welfare check. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36 year old male of Secaucus, NJ for Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. The male was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/09/2022 at 8:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 110 Park Plaza Drive on a report of an individual who was causing damage to motor vehicles. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45 year old male, Carlos Colon of Bloomfield, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Colon was issued his complaint warrant along with 1 motor vehicle summons and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
