Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 06/04/2019 at 2:21 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a possible shoplifting incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Sulayman Kebbeh of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Kebbeh was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Kebbeh was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/04/2019 at 1:22 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Castle Road and New County Road on a report of two suspicious males peering into vehicles. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20 year old male, Hason Jackson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 NCIC warrant issued out of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with no bail. Mr. Jackson was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Mr. Jackson was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/05/2019 at 2:37 AM, Officer’s from the Hohokus Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 53 year old female, Elizabeth Bernard of Englewood, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Bernard was released on her own recognizance by the Secaucus Municipal Court pending a future court date and was subsequently released from custody.
On 06/05/2019 at 4:04 PM, Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 27 year old male, Austin Jeffery of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Jeffery was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant out of Bedminster, NJ in the amount of $800.00 and 2 outstanding warrants out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Both the Bedminster Municipal Court and the Jersey City Municipal Court released Mr. Jeffery on his own recognizance. Mr. Jeffery was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ and was released from police custody.
On 06/05/2019 at 4:29 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Pablo Arroyo of North Bergen, NJ for 1 NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Arroyo was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/08/2019 at 5:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49 year old male, David Watson of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $4,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 and 1 NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Watson was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
