During the week of May 27, 2019, PSE&G crews will:

Replace gas main and services on Born Street @ Paterson Plank Road from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Born Street will be open to alternating traffic. |

Replace gas main and services on First Ave. @ Cedar Avenue from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. First Ave. will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Second Street @ Flanagan Way from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Second Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Tenth Street @ Centre Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tenth Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Huber Street @ Koelle Boulevard & Park Drive from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Huber Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |
This project is part of the PSE&G Gas System Modernization Program (GSMP) to replace aging cast iron and unprotected steel gas mains in order to support a safe, clean and reliable gas system.
The mains and services will be replaced with stronger more durable materials which are much less likely to have leaks and release methane gas.
The new elevated pressure systems also enable the installation of excess flow valves that dramatically reduce gas flow if a service line is damaged, and provide better support for the use of high-efficiency appliances.
