During the week of May 20, 2019, PSE&G crews will perform the following work.

Replace gas main and services on Hagan Place @ Paterson Plank Road from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hagan Place will be open to alternating traffic. |

Replace gas main and services on Cedar Lane @ Cedar Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Cedar Lane will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Second Street @ Pandolfi Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Second Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Chestnut Street @ Centre Ave. from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Chestnut St. Street will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |

Replace gas main and services on Koelle Boulevard @ Huber Street from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Koelle Boulevard will be closed except for transportation related to school, emergency responders and clients of assisted services. |
This project is part of the PSE&G Gas System Modernization Program (GSMP) to replace aging cast iron and unprotected steel gas mains in order to support a safe, clean and reliable gas system.
The mains and services will be replaced with stronger more durable materials which are much less likely to have leaks and release methane gas.
The new elevated pressure systems also enable the installation of excess flow valves that dramatically reduce gas flow if a service line is damaged, and provide better support for the use of high-efficiency appliances.
