On 05/11/2021 at 6:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Meadowlands Parkway and 10th Street on a report of an individual possibly sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was stopped on the roadway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46 year old male, Cristobal Veliz-Urrunaga of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Veliz-Urrunaga was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 05/13/2021 at 7:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 1301 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual possibly sleeping in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle that was parked in the parking lot. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55 year old male, Angel Bermudez-Bermudez of Madison, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Bermudez-Bermudez was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 05/14/2021 at 12:07 AM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the right lane of Paterson Plank Road near the ramp to Route 3 West. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Alberto Concha of Princeton, MD for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Concha was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from Police custody after sufficient time elapsed to deem Mr. Concha’s blood alcohol content to be under the legal limit.
On 05/14/2021 at 3:47 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a physical altercation between a male and female. During the investigation, the incident that was reported to the police via 911 was found to have not occurred. At 5:01 AM on the same date, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Tyrell Piazza of Jersey City, NJ at the Red Roof Inn for making False Reports to Law Enforcement [2C:28-4A]. Mr. Piazza was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
