On 04/14/2021 at 12:28 PM, while on patrol, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Alexander Mattila of Minneapolis, MN for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Mattila was served his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.
On 04/15/2021 at 10:22 AM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of a theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20 year old male, Christopher Dasilva of Union, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Dasilva was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 04/17/2021 at 12:13 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Demetri Dominick of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mountainside, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Dominick was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing law enforcement with false information. Mr. Dominick was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
