On 01/25/2021 at 8:36 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the 200 block of Grace Avenue on a report of a parking complaint. During the investigation, the police arrested a 56 year old female, Dora Omana of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Rutherford, NJ in the amount of $150.00. Ms. Omana was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 01/25/2021 at 1:42 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31 year old male, Sheldon Drakes of Rosedale, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Drakes was served his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 01/25/2021 at 10:54 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Whillmin Rosario of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The police also arrested a 30 year old male, Luis Padilla Rodriguez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Point Pleasant Boro, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Rosario was served his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. Mr. Padilla Rodriguez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 01/26/2021 at 3:18 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38 year old male, Dennis Harper of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ, both in the amount of $1,000.00 with 10 % option. Mr. Harper was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 01/26/2021 at 2:26 PM, Secaucus Police, while on patrol, observed a 14 year old juvenile female who appeared to be in distress in the area of Maple Street and Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, at 6:37 PM on the same date, the police arrested a 63 year old male, of Secaucus, NJ for Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)], Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Abuse and Neglect of a Child [9:6-1]. He was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/27/2021 at 12:33 AM, Secaucus Police received a report of a vehicle that was driving erratically and had struck a concrete barrier on State Highway NJ 3 West. The vehicle in question was located on Route 120 where a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was successfully conducted on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Amidou Ganame of New York, NY for Eluding [2C:29-2B], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a Butcher’s Knife, and Driving Under the Influence [39:4-50]. Mr. Ganame was served his complaint summons, along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving Under the Influence and an additional 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On 01/27/2021 at 3:38 PM, Mr. Ganame entered Secaucus Police Headquarters and was found to be acting erratically in the lobby. Mr. Ganame was ultimately arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault/Throwing Bodily Fluids at a Law Enforcement Officer [2C:12-13] and Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(1)]. Mr. Ganame was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/28/2021 at 4:39 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Anthony Greene of Orange, NJ for Driving Under the Influence [39:4-50]. Mr. Greene was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving Under the Influence along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 01/28/2021 at 11:34 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Krauser’s located at 40 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an activated silent alarm. During the investigation, the police were advised that an individual had broken a window in the store. The police located the individual involved on a NJ Transit Bus in the area of County Avenue and Paterson Plank Road. The police ultimately arrested a 36 year old male, Arendt Jones of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Jones was released on his own recognizance.

On 01/29/2021 at 11:52 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old female, Alexandra Defino of New Milford, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Bergen County Superior Court with no bail. Officer’s from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Ms. Defino for transport back to their agency.

On 01/30/2021 at 7:14 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Lorenzo’s located at 56 County Avenue on a report of an individual refusing the leave the establishment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 17 year old juvenile male of Jersey City, NJ for Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B(1)]. The juvenile was provided his copy of the Juvenile Complaint summons and was released into the custody of a parent.

On 01/31/2021 at 12:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38 year old male, Greg Devitt of Fort Lee, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ridgefield Park, NJ in the amount of $77.00. Mr. Devitt was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
