After the storm, let’s work together to get our Town back up quickly and safely:
  • Please keep roads safe by not throwing snow on the roadways or blocking storm drains.
  • If a fire hydrant is located near your property, please clear the snow from the hydrant to make it easier to find in case of an emergency.
  • Please remember that sidewalk areas must be cleared of ice and snow for safe passage within 24 hours of the snowfall. If you are physically unable to clear your sidewalk or property, please arrange for assistance prior to the storm, if possible.
  • The Town of Secaucus DPW works diligently to clear roadways for safe passage throughout the Town. Please understand that the clearing of roadways for emergency access is the priority and clean-up will be ongoing for days throughout the Town.
