On 10/26/2020 at 11:09 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25 year old female, Dejanira Jose of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Jose was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 10/28/2020 at 7:29 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Hyatt Hotel located at 575 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a welfare check of occupants in a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55 year old male, Tony Eli of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Nutley, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ with no bail. The police also arrested a 31 year old male, Ephraim Eli of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $300.00 and he was further charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession/Distribution of Hypodermic Needles [2C:36-6A], along with a 52 year old female, Tina Eli of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Ms. Eli was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The police also arrested a 22 year old female, Ginger Evans of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Linden, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Edison, NJ in the amount of $750.00, 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Ridgefield, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Essex County, NJ with no bail. Ms. Evans was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. Mr. Tony Eli was transported to the Newark Police Department. Mr. Ephraim Eli and Ms. Tina Eli were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Ms. Ginger Evans was issued her complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail.
On 10/28/2020 at 3:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the AT&T store located at 20 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a theft and an assault of the store manager. The police were able to conduct a motor vehicle stop of the suspect vehicle in the area of Wood Avenue and Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested an 18 year old male, Andre Campbell of Brooklyn, NY for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)], Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)], Using a Juvenile to commit a Criminal Offense [2C:24-9A] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. The police also arrested an 18 year old male, Stanley Daniel of Brooklyn, NY for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)], Using a Juvenile to commit a Criminal Offense [2C:24-9A], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)] along with a 15 year old juvenile male from Brooklyn, NY for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)], Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Mr. Campbell was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Mr. Daniel was served his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. The juvenile male was served his juvenile delinquency complaint. Hudson County Correctional Officer’s responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of the juvenile male for transport to the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.
On 10/30/2020 at 6:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34 year old male, Marcus Williams of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Both the Union Police Department and the Paramus Police Department released Mr. Williams on his own recognizance and he was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
