Since last week, the number of reported coronavirus cases grew from 735 to 773, an addition of 38 new cases. During the previous week, there were only 20 additional cases. So that means the infection rate has increased by a whopping 90% over the past seven days. As can be seen in the graph above, this second wave of COVID-19 in Secaucus seems to be picking up steam. This is evident from the fact that additional cases have been reported at both Huber Street School and Secaucus Middle/High School over the course of the week. At this rate, local school and business restrictions may have to be tightened to prevent further spread of the virus. Hopefully, such measures won't be necessary.
