The number of reported COVID-19 cases went up from 669 cases last week to 673 cases this week. That's a increase of 0.6%. This number would ideally be zero, but a relative small increase such as this is still a good sign in that:
  1. It shows last week's higher than usual number of new cases was just a statistical anomaly.
  2. The reopening of schools last week hasn't led to a notable increase in new cases so far.

It is important to note, though, that schools have only been opened for just over a week at this point. Therefore, it is premature to draw any conclusions regarding schools reopening and its impact on the coronavirus infection rate in Secaucus. The statistics over the next few weeks will give us a much better idea of where things stand.
