On July 23, 2020 at 6:09 P.M., following a month-long investigation, detectives from the Secaucus Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit stopped Darwin Fajardo on 8th Street and Flanagan Way. He was subsequently arrested after being found in possession of a prepackaged quantity of suspected cocaine and small amount of US currency.

Detectives then conducted a search of his residence located on the 800 block of 8th Street, in Secaucus. During the search, over one (1) ounce of suspected marijuana and a quantity of suspected cocaine that was prepackaged for street sale, were seized from the residence. Additionally, packaging material and “cutting agent” were seized, confirming the cocaine found in the residence was destined for street sale. Over $10,500.00 in cash and a large quantity of high value jewelry were seized from Darwin Fajardo and his residence, since they are suspected to have been derived from drug proceeds of this illicit drug distribution scheme.
