On 07/06/2020 at 6:26 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Jessie Evans of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West Caldwell, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Evans was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/08/2020 at 12:34 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual acting disorderly. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old female, Ivory Connelly of Philadelphia, PA for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(5)(J)]. Ms. Connelly was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/08/2020 at 7:33 PM, Secaucus Police observed a parking violation in the area of the CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Karon Guess of Brooklyn, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of False Government Documents [2C:21-2.1D]. Mr. Guess was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/09/2020 at 1:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48 year old male, Calvin Hawkins of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $74.00. The police also arrested a 50 year old female, Tonya Walker-Mendez of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $174.00. Both Mr. Hawkins and Ms. Walker-Mendez were able to post bail for their involved warrants and were released from police custody.
On 07/09/2020 at 3:27 PM, during a motor stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Derrick Middleton of Hillside, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Middleton was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/09/2020 at 11:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Clarendon and 7th Street on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Jordan Garcia of Secaucus, NJ for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)]. Mr. Garcia was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/10/2020 at 10:59 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Kamal Lawson of Teaneck, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Lawson was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/10/2020 at 1:47 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Gro Mart located at 135 Front Street on a report of a theft of a wallet. During the investigation, the police arrested a 58 year old male, Yogendra Patel of Secaucus, NJ for Theft of Property Lost or Mislaid [2C:20-6]. Mr. Patel was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/12/2020 at 8:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Daniel Matos of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officer’s from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Matos. Mr. Matos was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department.
On 07/12/2020 at 7:24 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 1309 Paterson Plank Road on a welfare check of an individual reported to be hunched over in a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Prakash Patel of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Patel was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 1 additional motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
