There were only two new cases of coronavirus reported this past week, so the shape of the coronavirus curve in Secaucus is continuing to be relatively flat. (See graph below. Click on any of the data points to see specific details.).

Over the course of the last seven days, the number of reported COVID-19 cases grew slightly from 633 to 635. That's a tiny increase of 0.3%. Of course, any new cases is not a good sign. However, it would be unrealistic to believe that the pandemic is over given that the disease is still spreading fiercely in other parts of the country. So new cases have to be expected. But overall, Secaucus definitely seems to be on the right track. Plus, there were no new reported cases of coronavirus related deaths this week. The question now is whether the numbers will remain low since it is definitely possible for a second wave to emerge, especially as more and more businesses and activities return to normal operations.
