A Passaic County woman left her two young children in a sweltering car Friday afternoon for at least 25 minutes while she shopped at a Secaucus warehouse store, police said. Fortunately for the girls, 4 and 2, a fellow shopper saw them inside the car in the parking lot at Restaurant Depot on Secaucus Road and called police at 4:05 p.m. The temperature at the time was 85 degrees. Inside the vehicle, the temperature was 140 degrees, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
