Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 01/21/2019 at 8:50 AM, a 29 year old male, James Lockhart of the Bronx, NY entered police headquarters to turn himself in for an outstanding warrant out of Keansburg, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Mr. Lockhart was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officer’s from the Keansburg Police Department arrived at Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Lockhart and transported him back to their authority.

On 01/21/2019 at 10:30 AM, Officer’s from the East Rutherford Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 29 year old female, Krysten Kalthoff of Newark, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $295.00. Ms. Kalthoff was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On 01/23/2019 at 2:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Jersey City Police Department to take custody of a 29 year old female, Latrice Funches of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Ms. Funches was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On 01/23/2019 at 11:27 PM, Officer’s from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 30 year old female, Janeth Moya-Rios of North Bergen, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Ms. Moya-Rios was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On 01/24/2019 at 9:05 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Adrian Moreira-Herdoiza of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug [2C:35-10.5A(1)]. Mr. Moreira-Herdoiza was also issued 4 motor vehicle summonses. Mr. Moreira-Herdoiza was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 01/24/2019 at 8:51 AM, a 17 year old juvenile male from Secaucus was arrested at Secaucus High School for making a Terroristic Threat [2C:12-3a] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with the Intent to Distribute [2C:36-3]. The juvenile was released to the custody of his parent.

On 01/25/2019 at 7:14 PM, a 54 year old male, Michael Samuels of Hawthorne, NJ entered Police Headquarters to turn himself in for 2 separate burglary incidents that occurred at US PAC located at 131 Seaview Drive. Mr. Samuels was charged with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A], Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)] for the incident that occurred on 01/13/2019 and was further charged with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A], Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A] for the incident that occurred on 01/20/2019. Mr. Samuels was served complaint warrants for both incidents and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/27/2019 at 12:18 AM, Officer’s from the Elizabeth Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 43 year old male, Alexis Mencias of Elizabeth, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Mencias was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Mencias was able to post bail for both warrants and was released from custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
