Secaucus Police Blotter 03/09/2020 - 03/15/2020

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 03/10/2020 at 1:17 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of 1 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28 year old male, Christopher Hickerson of Clifton Forge, VA for Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-5B(2)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Hickerson was served his complaint warrant. Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Hickerson for transport to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/10/2020 at 6:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Neptune Police Department to take custody of a 48 year old male, Troy Huff of Asbury Park, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $400.00. Mr. Huff was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/10/2020 at 10:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the intersection of 5th Street and Front Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, James Rodriguez of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 1 additional motor vehicle summons and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 03/11/2020 at 5:48 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31 year old female, Shanicquia Nelson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Nelson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 03/12/2020 at 1:49 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Alberto Gonzalez of Bayonne, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Gonzalez was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 03/12/2020 at 2:40 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old female, Valezca Moyano of North Bergen, NJ and a 24 year old female, Camila Torres of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to Commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Both Ms. Moyno and Ms. Torres were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
