Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 03/02/2020 at 11:15 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 46 year old male, Francesco Liotti of Nutley, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $200.00 with a 10% option. The police also arrested a 43 year old male, Michael Sargese of Little Falls, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Mr. Liotti was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. Mr. Sargese was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 03/02/2020 at 5:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take into custody a 25 year old male, Itrue Brunner of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of 750.00. Mr. Brunner was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.

On 03/03/2020 at 7:41 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Kevin Quinonez of Jersey City, NJ and a 22 year old female, Vanessa Guevara of Union City, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana in Excess of 50 grams [2C:35-10A(3)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Quinonez was also issued 3 motor vehicle summonses. Mr. Quinonez and Ms. Guevara were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 03/03/2020 at 11:17 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 700 County Avenue on a report of an incoherent female attempting to operate a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 50 year old female, Maria Frangos of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50], Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Being Under the Influence of a CDS [2C:35-10B]. Ms. Frangos was served her complaint summonses along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 03/03/2020 at 5:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21 year old male, John Roman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Roman was released on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from police custody.

On 03/04/2020 at 10:12 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 43 year old male, Sava Boric of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Boric was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/04/2020 at 3:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an individual attempting to pick up packages with fraudulent identification. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Rodiny Jean of Camberia Heights, NY for Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Possession of a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1D], Possession of a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1D] and Criminal Attempt to commit Theft by Deception [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Jean was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/05/2020 at 2:00 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40 year old male, Jose Rodriguez of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Rodriguez was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his complaint warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/06/2020 at 9:03 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32 year old female, Kierah Hawkins of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Ms. Hawkins was released on her own recognizance. Ms. Hawkins was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and she was released from police custody.

On 03/07/2020 at 1:57 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45 year old male, Alexander Delapena of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Delapena was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 03/07/2020 at 2:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Jersey City Police Department to take into custody a 57 year old male, David Rose of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Rose was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/08/2020 at 5:12 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Christopher Alvarez of Passaic, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with intent to Distribute [2C:35-5B(11)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of School Property [2C:35-7A], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Building [2C:35-7.1A], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana in excess of 50 Grams [2C:35-10A(3)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to Distribute [2C:36-3]. The Police also arrested a 25 year old male, Joshua Ludwig of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Ludwig was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Alvarez was served his complaint warrant along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
