Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 02/10/2020 at 4:26 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested two 14 year old males of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle. One of the males was additionally served with 5 motor vehicle summonses. Both were served their delinquency complainst and were released into the custody of a responsible guardian.
On 02/10/2020 at 5:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Park Plaza Drive and Plaza Drive on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old male, Christian Felipe of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $74.00. Mr. Felipe was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Guttenberg Police Department.
On 02/11/2020 at 3:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 2 Emerson Lane on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Donason Mombrun of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Orange, NJ in the amount of $83.00. Mr. Mombrun was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.
On 02/11/2020 at 9:52 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of 2 individuals attempting to purchase merchandise with fraudulent currency. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Patrick Grona of Manalapan, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)], Conspiracy to Commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)], Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Grona was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hamilton Township, NJ in the amount of $550.00. The police also arrested a 26 year old female, Charlesha Vereen of Trenton, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Conspiracy to Commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Grona and Ms. Vereen were served their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/11/2020 at 7:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 23 year old male, Kevin Evans of Trenton, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $800.00 along with 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Trenton, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Evans was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/12/2020 at 8:39 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Middlesex County Jail to take into custody a 20 year old male, Christian Reyes-Gonzales of Fords, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. The warrant was issued for the charges consisting of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A] stemming from an incident that occurred on 02/06/2019. Mr. Reyes-Gonzales was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/13/2020 at 3:34 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 50 year old male, Arelius Ingram of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Old Bridge Township, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Ingram was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 02/15/2020 at 1:49 PM, a 44 year old male, Jefferson Ventura of Secaucus, NJ entered Secaucus Police Headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $255.00. Mr. Ventura was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 02/15/2020 at 5:11 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59 year old male, Anthony Barker of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Barker was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Barker was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
