Secaucus Police Blotter 02/03/2020 - 02/09/2020

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 02/03/2020 at 8:31 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Mauro Gonzalez of Rochelle Park, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Gonzalez was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/03/2020 at 12:54 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40 year old male, Sameer Hosein of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Hosein was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/03/2020 at 7:05 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Nashawn Nichols of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The police also arrested a 30 year old male, Morris Funchess of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension by Providing False Information [2C:29-3B(4)]. Mr. Funchess was also found to have 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,100.00. Both Mr. Nichols and Mr. Funchess were issued their complaint warrants and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/04/2020 at 11:33 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old male, Cory McClem of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lyndhurst, NJ in the amount of $694.00. Mr. McClem was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. McClem was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/05/2020 at 3:02 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of 700 Plaza Drive. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20 year old female, Jasmine Blanco of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The police also arrested a 19 year old male, Richard Moran of Weehawken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Ms. Blanco was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Moran was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Ms. Blanco was issued her complaint warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/05/2020 at 5:30 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Dunellen Police Department to take into custody a 59 year old male, Darrell Stockling of Roselle, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Stockling was brought to the Secaucus Municipal Court where the warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ was dismissed and the warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ was recalled. Mr. Stockling was subsequently released from police custody.

On 02/05/2020 at 7:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Domino’s located at 200 Millcreek Drive on a report of 2 suspicious individuals who entered the establishment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Ryquille Hill of Philadelphia, PA for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] for having on his possession counterfeit U.S. currency. Mr. Hill was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/06/2020 at 12:37 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious male walking in the area of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Jose Burdie of Cliffside Park, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Cliffside Park, NJ with no bail. Mr. Burdie was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lodi, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Burdie was subsequently transported to the Cliffside Park Police Department.

On 02/06/2020 at 1:06 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Rent the Runway located at 100 Metro Way on a report of a male on the premises who was acting erratically. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38 year old male, Raheem Gadsden of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Gadsden was also found to have 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gadsden for transport to their authority.

On 02/07/2020 at 9:35 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Jaden Williams of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of a Synthetic Cannabinoid believed to be THC Oil [2C:35-5.2C.A]. Mr. Williams was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/08/2020 at 4:41 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Isiah Conil of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Conil was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/09/2020 at 12:22 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24 year old male, Kayvon Toofani of Ridgefield, NJ for and active warrant issued by Union City with a Bail in the amount of $500.00. He was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Oxycodone, Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine [2C:35-10.5A(3)] and Failure to Turn Over CDS to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C]. Mr. Toofani posted bail for the Union City and was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/09/2020 at 4:00 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old male, Mustafah Devouil of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Devouil was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Irvington, NJ in the amount of $275.00. The police also arrested a 40 year old male, Ruben Sanchez of the Newark,NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with Intent to Distribute [2C:35-5B(12)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 500 Feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 500 Feet of a Public Building [2C:35-7.1A], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Distribute [2C:36-3]. Mr. Sanchez was also issued 3 motor vehicle summonses. Both Mr. Devouil and Mr. Sanchez were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
