Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 12/31/2018 at 9:35 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 54 year old male, Erik Sarazua-Alburez of Secaucus, NJ for Theft by Deception [2C:20-4]. Mr. Sarazua-Alburez was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 01/01/2019 at 10:48 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious male in the area of Buffalo Wild Wings. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Christian Potter of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Potter was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/02/2019 at 8:48 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36 year old male, Manuel Estrella of Seatac, Washington for 1 outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Estrella was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 01/03/2019 at 1:07 PM, a 22 year old male, Shane Ultimo of Hackettstown, NJ was arrested at police headquarters for having an outstanding warrant out of Hackettstown, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Ultimo posted bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.
On 01/03/2019 at 1:55 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Juan Mata of the Bronx, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Failure to hand over CDS to a Law Enforcement Officer [2C:35-10C]. Mr. Mata was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses, served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 01/03/2019 at 3:30 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Gucci located at 50 Hartz Way on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, David Vega of Newark, NJ for an NCIC warrant out of Essex County, NJ with no bail. Officer’s from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office responded to Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Vega.
On 01/03/2019 at 4:58 PM, while on patrol, Secaucus Police observed a pedestrian crossing the street in the area of Paterson Plank Road and Humboldt Street outside of the crosswalk area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 50 year old female, Eva Dandrea of Bayonne, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Being Under the Influence of a CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10B]. Ms. Dandrea was served her complaint summons and was released to EMS for transport to the hospital.
On 01/03/2019 at 6:16 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Jordan Ford of Newark, NJ for the following outstanding warrants; 1 NCIC warrant out of Baltimore County Police Department with no bail, 2 warrants out of East Hanover, NJ in the amount of $1,750.00, 2 warrants out of Maplewood, NJ in the amount of $1,250.00 and 1 warrant out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Ford was further charged with being a Fugitive of Justice [2A:160-10]. The police also arrested a 27 year old male, Ibn Mason of Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Newark Police Department did release Mr. Mason on his own recognizance and he was released from custody. Mr. Ford was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/03/2019 at 7:36 PM, Officer’s from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 36 year old male, Steven White of North Bergen, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. White was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/04/2019 at 5:02 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old male, Sillmond Hale of East Orange, NJ for an NCIC warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Hale was further issued 2 motor vehicle summonses. Officer’s from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office responded to police headquarters and took custody of Mr. Hale.
On 01/05/2019 at 4:17 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 161 Front Street on a report of a suspicious person. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, Cody Mullins of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Mullins was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 01/06/2019 at 2:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking garage located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of suspicious individuals in the area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Gregory Trotter of Bethpage, NY and a 27 year old male, Robert Milione of Forest Hills, NY for Possession of an Imitation Firearm [2C:39-4E]. Mr. Milione was further charge with Possession of a Firearm Silencer [2C:39-3C]. Both individuals were served their complaint summonses and were released from custody.
On 01/06/2019 at 5:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 52 year old female, Mmany Atkins of Newark, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Ms. Atkins was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
