Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 01/20/2020 at 4:43 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42 year old male, Kenneth Bravo of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Rutherford, NJ in the amount of $150.00. Mr. Bravo was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Bravo for transport to their authority.

On 01/21/2020 at 4:15 PM, the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and transferred custody of a 31 year old male, Pierre Martinez of Fairview, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Martinez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 01/22/2020 at 8:16 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old female, Jennifer Blanco of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Scotch Plains, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 along with 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Ms. Blanco was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 01/23/2020 at 9:49 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Radio Avenue on a report of a male urinating in public. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57 year old male, William Sullivan of Edgewater, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Cliffside Park, NJ in the amount of $650.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fort Lee, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Sullivan was issued 1 Town Ordinance Violation for Public Urination [TO:106-1] and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/23/2020 at 2:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 28 year old male, Axel Alexis of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Alexis was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/24/2020 at 11:42AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take custody of a 31 year old female, Alicia Hurtado of North Plainfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. The Secaucus Municipal Court did release Ms. Hurtado on her own recognizance and she was released from police custody pending a future court date.

On 01/25/2020 at 7:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old female, Lauren Matukaitis of North Arlington, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(3)] and Possession of Universal Product Code Labels [2C:21-2.4A]. Ms. Matukaitis was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 01/26/2020 at 8:11 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48 year old male, Jomobram Jones of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Certain Prohibited Weapons [2C:39-3E], specifically having on his possession 2 pairs of Metal Knuckles and 1 Billy Club. Mr. Jones was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $280.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Jones was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons. The Elizabeth Police Department did release Mr. Jones on his own recognizance and he was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
