We are only 6 weeks away from the May 24 opening date of the Tenafly Municipal Pool. It is not too late to sign up. For details visit: www.tenaflynj.org/pool.
Please don’t forget those with food insecurity in our communities. Consider donating some of your unopened and unexpired food or toiletries. Place donations in a bag and drop off at the Tenafly Rotary Club’s food collection box, located between Stop & Shop and Celebrity Bagels. Our Rotarians collect and deliver all unopened and unexpired donations to local food banks. If you are interested in learning more about Rotary or contributing to their support of local needs, they meet at TPR most Thursdays at Noon. You can also mail donations to the Tenafly Rotary Club Charitable Organization, PO Box 75, Tenafly NJ 07670.

Join in at the Nature Center for an exciting weekend of outdoor adventures! Scouts can embark on the Sunset Hike & Campfire on Friday, April 11 or 18 at 7:00 pm, exploring the woods under the stars and bonding around a campfire.
Families with kids 4 and up can enjoy the Seasonal Scavenger Hunt at the Nature Center on April 12 or 13 at 1:00 pm, solving nature riddles along the trails. Then, on Sunday, April 13 at 10:00 am, help protect our forest at Forest Defenders by removing invasive species to keep our local ecosystem healthy. SAVE THE DATE! The Tenafly Welcome! committee, the Fire Department and the Volunteer Ambulance Corps are inviting new residents who moved into Tenafly from October 2024 to the present time to attend a private event at the Firehouse and the Volunteer Ambulance Corps on April 23 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A light dinner of pizza will be served. Be sure to bring the children. Postcard invitations are being sent. We are looking forward to a wonderful evening. Rain date is April 24.
Tenafly is hosting its annual town-wide Thrash-a-Thon. Please join us on Sunday, April 27 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for this important event. The Nature Center, the Environmental Commission, Green Team, and the High School Green Team, welcome everyone to attend as we clean up our community and raise donations for the Nature Center. Volunteer to participate individually or as a family in collecting litter or pledge to sponsor a volunteer. For more information on how to register, visit the Nature Center website. The Presbyterian Church and the director of music, Jim Millar is opening their doors with an invitation to take part in a community choir and orchestra project this spring. Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on April 22, May 6, 13, 20, 27. The concert date is June 1.
