Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced additional charges against 35-year-old DEQUAN CEDENO of Teaneck, NJ. These latest charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Allendale Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Dillon.
As previously reported, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, the Allendale Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual assault that occurred that day at the Hand and Stone Spa in Allendale, NJ. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allendale Police Department revealed that DEQUAN CEDENO sexually assaulted an adult female customer while performing a massage at the spa in Allendale, NJ. CEDENO was subsequently arrested on charges of sexual assault and criminal sexual contact. CEDENO made his first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ and was ordered released pending further court action.
As a result of the continuing investigation, detectives subsequently determined that DEQUAN CEDENO did also commit criminal sexual contact on an additional adult female customer while performing a massage on February 19, 2025, at the spa in Allendale, NJ. On Monday, April 7, 2025, DEQUAN CEDENO was arrested and additionally charged with three counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b. CEDENO was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ for these new charges.
