Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 01/06/2020 at 7:42 PM, Secaucus Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a bicyclist who was not displaying a front head lamp. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Troy Schwartz of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Toms River, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Schwartz was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 01/07/2020 at 3:24 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Kevin Colon of Jersey City, NJ and a 20 year old male, Anthony Mont of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Both Mr. Colon and Mr. Mont were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On 01/09/2020 at 11:45 AM, during a follow up investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division for a burglary and theft incident that occurred on 12/13/2019 at the Rent the Runway located at 100 Metro Way, the Secaucus Police arrested a 39 year old female, Tanisha Molina of Jersey City, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Ms. Molina was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 01/09/2020 at 4:07 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 46 year old male, Edgar Landaeta of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Essex County, NJ with no bail. Mr. Landaeta was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail.
On 01/09/2020 at 5:26 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Adnan Waseem of Teaneck, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Waseem was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 01/09/10:45 PM, during a follow up investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division for an Identity Theft incident that occurred on 11/20/2019, the Secaucus Police arrested a 19 year old male, Johan Matos of Passaic, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(2)], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)], Theft by Deception [2C:20-4] and Trafficking in Personal Identifying Information of Another [2C:21-17.3A]. Mr. Matos was also found to have 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $2,100.00. Mr. Matos was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/09/2020 at 11:59 PM, Officer’s from the Hillside Police Department responded to the Secaucus Police Department to transfer custody of a 37 year old male, Andrew Dunning of Hillside, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Dunning was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/11/2020 at 9:56 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 35 year old male, Devallon Edwards of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Edwards was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 01/11/2020 at 10:58 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 68 year old male, Manuel Andia of Kearny, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Andia was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 01/11/2020 at 6:58 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of American Way and Enterprise Avenue on a report of a dispute involving an assault. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Jarrett Reese of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300.00 along with 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Mr. Reese was additionally charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Mr. Reese was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
