Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 01/07/2019 at 6:18 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Jose Arias-Made of Newark, NJ, along with a 21 year old male, Randi Almonte of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine with intent to Distribute [2C:35-5A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Adderall with intent to Distribute [2C:35-5A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to Distribute [2C:36-3] and several thousand dollars in cash was seized. Mr. Almonte was additionally charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] for providing false information. Mr. Almonte was served his complaint summons and was released from custody. Mr. Arias-Made was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses, served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/07/2019 at 6:58 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 19 year old male, Mohammed Ahmed of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Mohammed was issued 1 motor vehicle summons, posted bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On 01/08/2019 at 1:33 AM, officers from the North Bergen Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 45 year old female, Zary Picart of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Ms. Picart was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Picart was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/08/2019 at 7:30 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Jane Court on a report of a suspicious vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Percell Harris of Newark, NJ for 4 outstanding warrants out of South Plainfield, NJ in the amount of $3000.00, along with 1 outstanding warrant out of Wall Township, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Mr. Harris was also found to have an NCIC warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Harris was subsequently transported to the South Plainfield Police Department.

On 01/08/2019 at 4:16 PM in regards to a burglary that occurred at Blimpie on 12/28/2019, the Secaucus Detective Division arrested a 48 year old male, Christopher Maglione of Jersey City, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1) and Theft [2C:20-3A)]. Mr. Maglione was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/08/2019 at 9:53 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Jay Alkhodary of Elmwood Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Manasquan, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Both the Wayne Police Department and the Manasquan Police Department released Mr. Alkhodary on his own recognizance. Mr. Alkhodary was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.

On 01/10/2019 at 11:40 AM, officers from the Leonia Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 59 year old male, Bruce Wynn of Englewood, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Wynn was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On 01/10/2019 at 2:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Courthouse to take custody of a 19 year old male, Timothy Carriel of Hackensack, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2500.00. Mr. Carriel was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/11/2019 at 11:29 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Shaquan Wearing of Jersey City, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants in the amount of $700.00. Mr. Wearing was able to post bail for the involved warrants. Mr. Wearing was also issued 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.

On 01/12/2019 at 2:14 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious male crossing Paterson Plank Road in the area of Wilson Ave without utilizing the crosswalk. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Benjamin Woytas of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Woytas was also issued a summons for crossing the street outside of the crosswalk area [39:4-34]. Mr. Woytas was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 01/12/2019 at 4:55 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38 year old female, Joaris Grullon of New York, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Grullon was also issued 1 motor vehicle summons. Ms. Grullon was served her complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 01/13/2019 at 5:24 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Route 3 West ramp from Paterson Plank Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Andrew Malik of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Reckless Driving [39:4-96]. Mr. Malik was served both motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 01/13/2019 at 4:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old female, Alice Pickett of Hoboken, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $6000.00. Ms. Pickett was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hoboken Police Department.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
