Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that on March 19, 2025, at approximately 3:12 a.m., members
of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 27th Street and 19th Avenue in
Paterson, New Jersey on a call of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered
the victim, an unidentified female, with a gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently
pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
