On Sunday, March 2, 2025, after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Blairstown Township Police
Department, Seung K. Chang was arrested by the Port Authority Police Department, at Newark Liberty
International Airport, as he returned to New Jersey. The investigation involved allegations of sexual contact and
sexual assault by Chang while employed as a masseur at the Simply Day Spa, located at 26 Route 94, Blairstown,
New Jersey.
The Blairstown Township Police Department processed Chang for the below listed crimes, and he was lodged in
the Warren County Correctional Center.
- Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C: 14-2c(1), a crime of the second degree.
- Twelve counts, Criminal Sexual Contact, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b, a crime of the fourth degree.
Second degree crimes carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in New Jersey State Prison and fourth degree crimes
carry a maximum sentence of 18 months in New Jersey State Prison.
The charges are merely accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond
a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
