1. On February 18th, 2025, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the New Jersey State Police, informing our agency that they had a male in their custody with an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Shortly after, Troopers arrived at our police headquarters with 42-year-old Tesfa M. Connell of Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Connell was then placed under arrest and processed for the active warrant. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Connell was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

2. On February 19th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 33-year-old Thomas J. Delvecchio of Saddle Brook, NJ, after discovering that he had four active warrants, issued by the Clifton, Emerson, Elmwood Park, and Paterson Municipal Courts. Mr. Delvecchio was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Delvecchio was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearances.

3. On February 20th, 2025, 28-year-old Christina M. Crespo of Little Ferry, NJ, walked into the Guttenberg Police Department to turn herself in for an active warrant. Ms. Crespo was placed under arrest and processed for the active warrant. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. Crespo was released on her own recognizance, pending her next court appearance with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

4. On February 21st, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 40-year-old Christine E. Obrien of West New York, NJ, after discovering that she had an active warrant, issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, while she was inside of Guttenberg Police headquarters. Ms. Obrien was then processed and turned over into the custody of members of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.


The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
