On 02/24/2025 at 6:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 46-year-old male, Malik Hunt of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Saddle Brook, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Both the South Orange Police Department and the Saddle Brook Police Department released Mr. Hunt on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Hunt was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
On 02/25/2025 at 8:23 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Christopher Santana of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750.00. The Paterson Police Department did release Mr. Santana on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Santana was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 02/27/2025 at 8:09 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old female, Nathali Burgos-Minaya of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Burgos-Minaya was also charged with Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10.5(2)] and Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Alprazolam [2C:35-10.5E(2)]. Ms. Burgos-Minaya was issued her complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/26/2025 at 12:24 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Salam Strange of Paterson, NJ along with a 26-year-old male, Dayvon Thorpe of Paterson, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Strange was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Both Mr. Strange and Mr. Thorpe were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/28/2025 at 11:25 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male, Givonni Butler of Hackensack, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Butler was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 6 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 03/01/2025 at 6:36 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual who was refusing to leave the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old female, Shana Davis of Jersey City, NJ for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B(1)]. Ms. Davis was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Ms. Davis was issued her complaint summons. Ms. Davis was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
On 03/01/2025 at 2:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel located at 40 Wood Avenue on a report of an individual who was refusing to leave the establishment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Oshane Mclean of New York, NY for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A], Theft of Services [2C:20-8B], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A] and Possession of CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-10.2A]. Mr. Mclean was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 03/02/2025 at 2:59 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Turan Kilic of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Mr. Kilic was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 03/02/2025 at 6:10 PM, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old female, Thalia Velez of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The Union City Police Department did release Ms. Velez on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
