1. On January 30, 2025, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Police Officers Carmen Benitez and Nasir Willey found a man inside the vestibule of TD Bank, 47 Newark St., during a detail check. The man, later identified as 57-year-old James Green of Jersey City, was found to be in possession of a glass cylindrical pipe and he was charged with possession with intent to use. It was discovered Green two warrants out of Hoboken for drug possession and disorderly person charges. He also had a warrant out of Jersey City for failure to register as a sex offender, and one out of the Superior Court of New Jersey for possession/sale of CDS and violating sex offender registry regulations. He was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

2. On January 30, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski and Aaron Font responded PNC Bank, 111 River St., on reports of someone sleeping in the vestibule. When they arrived, they found 67-year-old Elizabeth Adams of Jersey City, who they recognized as an individual they met earlier, when they found Adams inside Citizens Bank, 221 River St., and had given her a warning that if she was found trespassing again, she’d be issued a summons or arrested. Adams was issued a summons for defiant trespassing and released on the scene. She was offered transportation to a warming center, but refused.

3. On January 30, 2025, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Police Officers Anish Bhisey and David Chicara were conducting a building check of a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building on the 300 block of Marshall Drive when they located a man later identified as 34-year-old Steven Rodriguez of Jersey City. It was discovered he didn’t live in the building. He was placed under arrest for defiant trespassing and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. It was learned he had a warrant out of Bayonne for defiant trespassing. After processing in Hoboken, Rodriguez was transported to Bayonne Police Headquarters.

4. On January 31, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Police Officer Anthony Rutkowski was on patrol in the Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA), when he observed two vehicles circling the area, stopping often. One of the vehicles eventually parked on the 400 block of Monroe Street, with two of the tires up on the sidewalk and it was discovered the car had a suspended registration. Sgt. Michael Straten and Police Officers Jairo DeLaCruz, Geovanni Cruzado, Marc Mooreman, and Jaydan Gonzalez arrived on the scene The other vehicle pulled up in the area, and the driver, later identified as 38-year-old Ricardo Muniz of Hoboken, approached the officers. It was discovered he had a warrant from Raritan Boro. A search incident to arrest located a yellow prescription bottle with 86 rock style objects wrapped in clear plastic tied off at the top, suspected to be CDS crack cocaine, cash in multiple denominations adding up to $1,257, consistent with narcotic sales, and a folding knife with a four-inch blade. Muniz was charged with possession of CDS crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property, certain persons not to have a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued a summons for having a suspended registration. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

5. On January 31, 2025, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski and Aaron Font responded to the area of 14th Street and Willow Avenue, on reports of a woman screaming, running in the street, and jumping onto cars. Police Officers Anish Bhisey and David Chicara also responded. As officers approached the woman, later identified as 32-year-old Lauren Mullins of Roselle Park, she continued to scream. When they attempted to keep her from running back into the street, she became more agitated and began to flail her legs, kicking one of the officers. She was placed under arrest and continued to be combative as she was placed into a patrol car, where she refused to sit down, and ended up kicking another officer. Mullins was transported to an area hospital. She was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly contact. She was ultimately released with a summons.

6. On January 31, 2025, at approximately 1 p.m., Police Officers Arturo Gonzalez and Tyrone Huggins responded to Walgreens, 1300 Willow Ave., on reports of a repeat shoplifter seen taking several items and leaving without paying. While on their way, officers observed a man who matched the description of the suspect. They stopped him and a Walgreens employee positively identified the man, later identified as 42-year-old Robert Smith of Jersey City, as the actor. A search incident to arrest located some of the items stolen from Walgreens, as well as a glass cylinder with steel wool and burn marks, copper electrical wire, and a plastic rod. Smith was found to be in possession of $57.35 worth of stolen merchandise. Smith was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

7. On January 31, 2024, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Det. Fabian Quinones and Police Officer Anthony Azzoline were on the 300 block of Jackson Street when they saw two men in a parking lot. Officers saw one of the individuals, later identified as 24-year-old Carlos Guardado-Garcia, attempt to light an object in his mouth and determined this to be suspicious activity. They approached the men and again witnessed Guardado-Garcia light and inhale from an object which they identified as a glass cylindrical pipe. Guardado-Garcia was ordered to drop the glass pipe, but he refused. He continued to ignore commands and resisted arrest. Officers were eventually able to handcuff him. The other individual was identified as 33-year-old Elvis Gomez of Hoboken, and it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of Pequannock Township. Gomez was released from the scene with a new court date. Guardado-Garcia was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. After processing he was released with a summons and a court date.

8. On January 31, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Sgt. Roary Miller was in the area Third and Jackson Streets, assisting with an arrest and when got back to his patrol car, he found a man, later identified as 34-year-old Kenny Cardona of Jersey City, sitting in the driver's seat with the police radio in his hand. Cardona was removed from the car and placed under arrest. He appeared to be under the influence of phencyclidine (PCP), due to his behavior and the faint odor of PCP emanating from his body. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing and charged with burglary and criminal attempted theft, He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

9. On February 1, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Police Officers and Keven De La Cruz and Marvin DeJesus were on the 400 block of Marshall Drive when they were approached by a man who said he saw a non-resident in the lobby of his building on the 300 block of Marshall Drive. Officers went to that building, which is on Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) property and saw a man standing behind the door. He provided a false name and birthdate. He was placed under arrest for defiant trespassing. A search incident to arrest uncovered part of a crack pipe, commonly used to inhale CDS crack cocaine. The individual, who was properly identified as 63- year-old Herman Jarrett of Passaic, was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and found to have an open warrant out of Jersey City. He was further charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension and was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

10. On February 1, 2025, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Police Officers Michael Chen and Brandon Cappelluti responded to the 300 block of Marshall Drive on reports of a man kicking and screaming at the door of an apartment inside a residential building. Sgt. Francis McCourt also responded. An on-scene investigation revealed that after an argument, an individual, later identified as 26-year-old Angelo Roldan of Hoboken, kicked and broke an apartment door, causing approximately $106 in damage. Police Officers Ricky Truppner and Daniel Barron arrived on scene to assist. Roldan was issued summonses for criminal mischief and released on the scene.

11. On February 1, 2025, at approximately 3 p.m., Police Officers Nathaniel Arrocho and Rose Kanan responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting. Upon arrival they learned that a man, later identified as 88-year-old Francisco Burgos of Hoboken, was seen by store security putting several items into a bag. At the register, he didn’t pay for $44.24 worth of the merchandise in his bag. He was stopped by store security when he tried to leave the store. Burgos was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed and released with a summons.

12. On February 1, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Keven De La Cruz responded to the intersection of Ninth and Jackson Streets on reports that a man threatened two other people with violence. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor told the two victims, he was going to kill them. The victims walked away, but the individual followed them and pointed what they believed to be a makeshift knife at them. While officers were talking to the victims, the man, later identified as 58-year-old Ramon Quinones of Hoboken, came back. Sgt. Rory Miller and Police Officers Alexander Miller, Nicholas Protopapadakis, and Rose Kanan arrived to assist. A search incident to arrest of Quinones revealed a small knife and a hammer. He refused to listen to police commands during a pat down for weapons and attempted to obstruct the investigation. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with obstruction, making terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. He was processed on the charges and released from custody.

13. On February 2, 2025, at approximately 2:35 a.m., Sgt. Michael Straten witnessed a fight on the 50 block of Hudson Street. Police Officers Nasir Willey and Jayden Gonzalez responded to assist. When they arrived, they saw a man on the ground, suffering from a possible dislocated knee and told officers he was pushed by another man, later identified as 21-year-old Thomas Kallergis of Waldwick, who was still on the scene. Kallergis was arrested for aggravated assault and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was later released with a summons and court date.

14. On February 2, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., Police Officers Marc Lombardi and Joseph Lupo responded to the Pompton Lakes Police Department to pick up 22-year-old Derek Franco of Pompton lakes, who had an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken for disorderly conduct. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and posted bail. He was released from custody with a summons.

15. On February 2, 2025, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Sgt. Roary Miller, Sgt. Michael Straten, and Police Officer Andrias Bonilla responded to Domino’s, 462 Newark St. on reports of a man refusing to leave. When they arrived, they found a man who fit a description of the actor, later identified as 37-year-old Jeffrey Whitaker of Jersey City. They observed a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance, suspected to be CDS crack cocaine, in his hand. Whitaker swallowed the baggie, despite officers' attempts to stop him. He was placed under arrest and transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. He was charged with possession of CDS, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Once released from the hospital, Whitaker was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

16. On February 3, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Police Officers Nasir Willey, Teddy Santiago, and Nathaniel Arocho responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting with the actor in custody of store security. It was revealed that a man, later identified as Larone Ferguson, tried to leave the store without paying for all of the items in his possession. He was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. It was discovered Ferguson had five outstanding warrants. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

17. On February 3, 2025, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Police Officers Zackary Guido responded to the intersection of Observer Highway and Henderson Streets on reports of woman walking in and out of traffic. When he arrived, the officer saw a woman who matched the description of the individual and saw her lying on the ground screaming. When more officers arrived to assist, the woman, later identified as 30-year-old Crystal Bent of Hoboken, began to act disorderly while screaming, yelling, and stumbling. She was handcuffed to ensure her own, and others, safety. Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps (HVAC) arrived to assist Bent and transport her to a local hospital. While being placed in the ambulance, Bend began to spit at officers, hitting one. She was placed under arrest for throwing bodily fluids at a Law Enforcement Officer. She was released from custody with a summons, at the hospital.

18. On February 4, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Police Officers Ricky Truppner and Valentino Salgado responded to TD Bank, 47 Newark St., on reports of a person sleeping inside the vestibule. The woman was identified as 48-year-old Stacey Bulter of Hoboken. She was issued a summons for defiant trespassing and transported to a local hospital, where she was released from police custody.

19. On February 4, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Police Officers John Rodriguez and Shyenna Vega were conducting a building sweep of a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building on the 300 block of Marshall Drive when they found a man sitting on the stairs. The man was identified as 33-year-old Louis Fernandez of North Bergen, and it was discovered he was not an HHA resident. He was issued a summons for defiant trespassing, escorted from the building, and released from custody.

20. On February 5, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., Police Officers Zackary Guido and Aaron Font conducted a building sweep of a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building on the 500 block of Marshall Drive. During the sweep, they encountered 29-year-old Jacob Smith of Hoboken and discovered he was not a resident. Police Officers Sean Sodora and Valentino Salgado arrived on the scene to assist. Smith was arrested for defiant trespassing and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing before being released from custody.

21. On February 5, 2025, at approximately 9:10 a.m., Police Officers Zachary Guido and Marco Grossman responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting where store security had a suspect in custody. When they arrived, they learned the actor, later identified as 47-year-old Michael Fortune of Jersey City, placed multiple items worth a total of $277.47 into a bag and tried to leave the store without paying. He was stopped by security, who called the police. Fortune was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. It was discovered he had four outstanding warrants out of Hoboken. Fortune was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

22. On February 5, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Police Officers Jessica Pizanie and Teddy Santiago responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting, where the actor was in custody of store security. An on-scene investigation revealed the man, later identified as 42-year-old Cheikh Gueye of Jersey City, tried to leave the store with 20 items worth $96.34 he didn’t pay for. He was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. He was later released from custody.
