Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 12/30/2019 at 5:31 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 200 Millcreek Drive on a report of a possible stolen motor vehicle in the area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old female, Montana Lawrence of North Bergen, NJ for Unlawful Taking of Means of Conveyance [2C:20-10]. Ms. Lawrence was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 12/31/2019 at 10:39 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Edison Park Fast located at 675 New County Road on a report of a suspicious male in the area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25 year old male, Raiquan Becheam of Newark, NJ for Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)], Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] and Burglary into a Motor Vehicle [2C:18-2A(1)]. Mr. Becheam was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Becheam was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/02/2020 at 12:21 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the East Orange Police Department to take custody of a 33 year old male, Noel Cordero of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Cordero was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 01/02/2020 at 7:24 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44 year old male, Richmond Nicandro of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ, in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Nicandro was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and transported Mr. Nicandro to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/03/2020 at 6:10 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34 year old male, David Johnson of Cape Coral, FL for Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Johnson was issued his complaint warrant along with 7 motor vehicle summonses transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/04/2020 at 8:54 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38 year old female, Lisa Menendez of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Alprazolam [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Menendez was issued her complaint summons along with 9 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 01/04/2020 at 2:55 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the TD Bank located at 1262 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a disorderly customer. During the investigation, the police arrested a 64 year old male, Ronald Weston of New York, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Displaying a Fraudulent Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)], Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)], Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Weston was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 01/04/2020 at 6:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 23 year old male, Sergio Hernandez of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Hernandez was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/05/2020 at 7:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel located at 40 Wood Avenue on a report of a suspicious male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Devyne Beard of Brooklyn, NY for Being Under the Influence of a CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10B], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] (a knife) and Hindering Apprehension for Providing False Information [2C:29-3B(4)]. Mr. Beard was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mahwah, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Beard was served his complaint warrant. Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Beard for transport to the Hudson County Jail.
