Secaucus Police Blotter 12/23/2019 - 12/29/2019

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 12/23/2019 at 9:30 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Raymour and Flanagan located at 150 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28 year old male, Hunter Regan of Metairie, LA for Possession of CDS believed to be Anabolic Steroids [2C:35-5B(13)], Possession of a Firearm while in the course of Committing a CDS violation [2C:39-4.1A], Unlawful Possession of a Handgun [2C:39-5B(1)], Possession of Prohibited Weapons, specifically Possession of Hollow Point Bullets [2C:39-3F(1)], Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cialis [2C:35-10.5A(4)] and Possession with Intent to Distribute Suboxone [2C:35-10.5A(3)]. Mr. Regan was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/26/2019 at 9:08 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Douglas Gibson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 NCIC warrant issued out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officer’s from the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gibson for transport to their authority.

On 12/26/2019 at 11:13 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old female, Shauna Joseph of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Ms. Joseph was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On 12/26/2019 at 11:22 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Cura located at 595 County Avenue on a report of a male who refused to leave the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Akil Bowser of Elizabeth, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mays Landing, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Bowser was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On 12/26/2019 at 4:46 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Marshall’s located at 400 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old female, Danielle Mitchell of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Hindering Apprehension by Providing False Information [2C:29-3B(4)]. Ms. Mitchell was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $150.00. Ms. Mitchell was issued her complaint warrant and transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/27/2019 at 7:38 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Anthony Anderson of Orange, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Anderson was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 12/28/2019 at 4:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a suspicious person on the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 68 year old male, Gary Marinella of Paramus, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Marinella was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/28/2019 at 7:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 19 year old male, Onel Rodriguez of Secaucus, NJ for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Hindering Apprehension for Providing False Information [2C:29-3B(1)] and Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Rodriguez was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/29/2019 at 2:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 851 7th Street on a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Amr Mostafa of Jersey City, NJ and a 22 year old male, Ahmed Khalifa of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Mostafa was additionally charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10A(1)]. Both parties were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
