Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Mount Olive Township Police Chief Michael Spitzer announce the sentencing of Christina Susco, 38, Budd Lake, New Jersey, for Endangering Welfare of a Child.

On November 18, 2024, Susco pled guilty to one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(a)(2).

On January 17, 2025, the Honorable Ralph Amirata imposed a sentence of five (5) years of probation conditioned on serving 90 days in the Morris County Correctional Facility. Upon release, Susco is ordered to abide by all DCP&P recommendations, have no contact with the victim or her family, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations and to have not contact with the Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, where she is no longer employed.

The charges stem from the assault of a 16-month-old female child at the Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center on March 25, 2024, by Susco, who was employed at the time as a teacher. Following an investigation, Susco was subsequently charged.

Prosecutor Carroll would like to acknowledge the Mount Olive Township Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit for their assistance in the investigation and prosecution of this case.
