43-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 10:29 p.m. on January 16, 2025, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street on a report of a shooting. Police located a 43-year-old male victim from Paterson, New Jersey, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
