Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge
Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 5:03 p.m. on January 10, 2025, members of the
Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street and East 19th Street on a
report of a shooting. Police located an 16-year-old juvenile suffering from non-fatal gunshot
wounds. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New
Jersey.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes
available.
