On 01/06/2025 at 8:29 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Exxon Gas Station located at 445 Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 62-year-old male, Frank Dutton of Flanders, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Dutton was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 3 additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 01/06/2025 at 4:03 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Somerset County Jail to take into custody a 34-year-old male, Abdul Franklin of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Franklin was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 01/07/2025 at 10:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old female, Tiera Parham of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fair Lawn, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Parham was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Fair Lawn along with Elmwood and Wayne did release Ms. Parham on her own recognizance pending future court dates. Ms. Parham was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 01/09/2025 at 3:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old male, Jason Hoosain of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $50.00. Hoosain was released on his own recognizance in relation to the warrants issued out of East Orange, NJ and Secaucus, NJ. Mr. Hoosain was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
On 01/10/2025 at 3:59 PM, in relation to a burglary into a wheel loader at 1 Emerson Drive in October of 2024, the Secaucus Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle believed to be involved in the burglary in Jersey City, NJ. During the motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Carlos Ruiz-Rubio of North Bergen, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Ruiz-Rubio was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
