On 12/10/2024 at 3:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Plaza Centre on a report of a male harassing pedestrians for money. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Anthony Hines of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Hines was subsequently transported to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.

On 12/11/2024 at 1:08 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old male, Antoine Smith of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Smith was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] for possessing metal knuckles along with Possession of Prohibited Weapons [2C:39-3E]. Newark did release Mr. Smith on his own recognizance in regards to the 2 warrants issued out of their agency that was valued at $500.00. East Orange also released Mr. Smith on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrant. Mr. Smith was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/12/2024 at 9:43 AM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle parked in the area of 595 County Avenue where the owner of the vehicle was found to have an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male, Brandon Pascarella of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ with no bail. Mr. Pascarella was subsequently transported to the Clifton Police Department.

On 12/12/2024 at 11:59 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Prebish Medrano-Calderon of Fairview, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Medrano-Calderon was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/13/2024 at 5:02 PM, Secaucus Police observed an individual exposing his genitals and urinating in public within the parking lot of 400 Park Plaza Drive. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old male, Sidiki Savadogo of the Bronx, NY for Lewdness [2C:14-4A]. Mr. Savadogo was also issued 1 special complaint summons for Urinating in Public [T.O. 106-1]. Mr. Savadogo was issued his complaint summons along the Tow Ordinance Violation and he was released from police custody.

On 12/13/2024 at 3:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take into custody a 26-year-old female, Jordan Canales of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Canales was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 12/13/2024 at 10:59 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a verbal altercation with threats being made where one of the female’s involved brandished a knife. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57-year-old female, Josephine Melendez of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a folding knife, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A]. Ms. Melendez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/15/2024 at 8:22 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Edison Park Fast located at 675 New County Road on a report of a male who had damaged the windshield of a parked motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old male, Francisco Rodriguez of Ephrata, PA for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically rocks and a piece of wood, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/15/2024 at 3:23 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 61-year-old male, Oscar Martinez of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mount Olive, NJ in the amount of $250.00. North Bergen along with the Mount Olive did release Mr. Martinez on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Martinez was able to post bail for the involved warrant out of Secaucus, NJ and he was released from police custody.
