1. On November 11th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 21-year-old Jose R. Miranda-Estrada of Guttenberg, NJ, after he was observed assaulting another male. Prior to his apprehension, Mr. Miranda-Estrada fled from responding officers on foot. As a result of their on-scene investigation, Mr. Miranda-Estrada was transported to the Guttenberg Police Department, where he was charged with simple assault [2C:12-1A(1)], disorderly conduct [2C:33-2A], harassment [2C:33-4], obstructing [2C:29-1A], and resisting arrest by flight [2C:29-2A(2)]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Miranda-Estrada was issued his complaint summons and then released from police custody.

2. On November 16th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division observed a large fight unfold near Flow Lounge, a bar located near the North Bergen and Guttenberg border on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. During this incident, officers arrested 35-year-old Ramiro Santos of Guttenberg, NJ, for simple assault [2C:12-1A(1)]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Santos was issued his complaint summons and then released into the care of Palisades Medical Center staff.

3. On November 16th, 2024, the Wayne Police Department contacted the Guttenberg Police Department, informing our agency that they had a male in their custody who had an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Our officers then responded to the Wayne Police Department, where they arrested 23-year-old Said N. Yilmaz of Bloomfield, NJ. Mr. Yilmaz was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Yilmaz was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.


The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
