15-Year-Old Teenager Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 8:44 p.m. on October 30, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 37th Street and 11th Avenue on a report of a shooting. Police were able to locate a 15-year-old victim suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
